The evening, designed to celebrate and support the thousands of students whose lives have been transformed through the School's innovative "Outside the Box" program, offers a variety of hors d'oeuvres, gourmet stations and rockin' live music performed by students and staff. A silent auction will be held to raise important funds that will enrich school programming and student experiences. Hunterdon Preparatory School, located in Annandale, has been helping students build bright and productive futures for more than 40 years. The School's "Outside the Box" approach to education integrates individualized academic instruction with supported social activities to enable complex learners to access their gifts and talents and, in turn, achieve personal growth and success. "We are always humbled by the support we receive from parents, businesses and local community members who understand and value the difference that their contributions make to our students and school," says Hunterdon Preparatory School's Executive Director, Toby Ray Loyd. "The funds raised by this event will directly benefit our students through the purchase of transport vehicles for internship transportation, and off-campus activities that enrich our student's education and experiences." An irresistible blend of fashion and compassion, Wine Women and Shoes is a strolling wine, food tasting and boutique shopping experience with a dream closet raffle, glass slipper live auction, fashion show and a best shoe contest that come together for a few hours of fundraising, camaraderie and fun. Take the opportunity to get glamourous and bring your girlfriends out for an evening to enjoy incredible varietals from top winemakers. Some of the featured wines include Conundrum, New Age, Pine Ridge, Seghesio and Tropical Moscato. The shop for a cause market place will feature must-have designs from Love Thirteen, Charleston Shoe, Addicted Chic, LaVerne Coffey Designs and more. In addition to shopping while sipping Pinot or Chardonnay, guests will enjoy dinner and a runway fashion show presented by Bloomingdale's. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation (HHF) Special Needs Funds. These funds ensure that cancer and financially vulnerable patients receive quality life-saving medical treatments, wellness resources and non-medical support so they may focus on recovery. The Woman's Club of Tewksbury is excited to announce their casino charity fundraiser event "Diamonds and Dice" on May 17 from 6:30 pm – 11:00 pm at Fiddlers Elbow Country Club.
