It's hard to keep up with Boy Scout Troop 200! In November they welcomed friends, family and veterans to hear three local World War II veterans share their amazing life stories. From D-Day and Pearl Harbor to liberating Dachau and serving as a witness on the Nuremberg Trials, the audience was awe-struck hearing from these heroes. We thank them for spending time with us and for their service. December found the Scouts in the Big Apple touring the 9/11 Museum and Memorial as well as Wall Street, Trinity Church and the National Museum of the Native American. Later in the month the Scouts visited residents at Veteran's Haven North in Glen Gardner to help spread holiday cheer by caroling. The Scouts have been busy working on several Merit Badges including: Citizenship of the World, Citizenship of the Community, Dog Car and Family Life. The Scouts are honing their skills and looking forward to competing at the Klondike Derby at the Teetertown Preserve. They are looking forward to hosting local Webelos at upcoming meetings as they look forward to bridging to Boy Scouts in the coming weeks as well as their upcoming Court of Honor. Troop 200 is a high-adventure, boy-led troop. The scouts meet on Monday evenings during the school year at Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale. For more info about the troop, follow BSA Troop 200 on Facebook, Troop 200 NJ on Instagram or email us at: Troop200NJ@gmail.com. ❤ ❤ ❤ V A l E N T I N E ' S D A y B R E A k F A S T ! ❤ ❤ ❤ Saturday February 9 from 8:00 - 11:00 am at Round Valley United Methodist Churchat 30 Main Street in Lebanon Menu Includes: Hashbrown Potato Casserole, Scrambled Eggs, Pancakes, Sausage and Bacon, Bagels/Donuts/Beverage and – who knows? – Romance?
