The Hunterdon Medical Center Auxiliary is hosting the annual Lights of Love Tree Lighting Ceremony which gathers family and friends and brightens the holiday sky with lights, music and love. This year's Lights of Love Tree Lighting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 4:15pm to 5:15 pm at Hunterdon Medical Center, located at 2100 Westcott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822. Featured entertainment this year will be provided by The Star Maker School and Crossroads. A holiday cookie sale will be held during the event to benefit Briteside Adult Day Center. The Auxiliary will also have beautiful hand painted ornaments for sale created by The Brushing Violets. For 31 years, the Lights of Love ceremony has been a time-honored tradition. Each year, in early December, an evergreen tree located outside the main entrance to Hunterdon Medical Center is illuminated with thousands of shining white lights. These lights represent gifts received from donors all over the country to honor or memorialize people who have touched their lives in a special way. Once again it's time to think about the people who mean the most to us. If you'd like to be part of helping our community celebrate this special tradition and have a "light of love" placed on the tree to shine brightly in tribute, please call the Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation at (908) 788-6141 or visit online at lightsoflovenj.org. Tree lights available are Individual lights - $20, Starlight $100, Candlelight $250, Shooting Star $500 and Circle of Love $1,000. Special thanks to the Lights of Love lead sponsor Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home. For more information and to RSVP to attend the ceremony, please contact the Foundation office at (908) 788-6141 or ddalley@ hhsnj.org. Proceeds from this event support a variety of programs which allow Hunterdon Healthcare to continue providing excellent healthcare for our community and the surrounding areas. About the Hunterdon Medical Center Auxiliary The Hunterdon Medical Center Auxiliary is a philanthropic partner of the Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation.
