On September 24, the Hunterdon Medical Center Auxiliary and Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation held their annual event 'A Culinary Affair' which benefitted Hunterdon Hospice and Visiting Health and Supportive Services. This year the event raised $61,840, bringing the total funds raised since the events inception to over $700,000. The event was held at The Farmhouse at the Grand Colonial in Hampton, NJ and featured specialty food tastings from local restaurants, wineries and breweries and had over 250 guests in attendance at "A Culinary Affair" goes…Irish! Guests were able to enjoy many Irish themed culinary dishes as well as entertainment, which included Irish Step Dancers provided by Heritage Irish Dance Company and Irish singing provided by Paul Chandonnet. Special thanks to the restaurants, wineries and breweries who participated in this year's event: 15 Landsdowne Catering, 55 Main, Black River Roasters, Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse, Clinton Atrium Café, Chive & Thyme, Hunterdon Brewing Co., Maddelena's Catering, Matt's Red Rooster Grill, Metropolitan Seafood & Gourmet, Old Croton Bar & Grill, Oldwick Soup Company, Shoprite of Hunterdon County, Stanton Ridge Country Club, The Farmhouse at the Grand Colonial, The Mixing Bowl and The Ship Inn.
