Boy Scout Troop 200 invites local Webelos to attend their annual movie campout, October 19-21 at Round Valley Youth Center. Join the scouts for a weekend of camping, games, and skill-building. Join in the fun and produce a short movie which will be premiered on Saturday before the main feature! We'll provide the tents, camping equipment and food. If you're a boy in 6th grade through high school and interested in learning more about the troop, come out and join us, or come to one of our weekly meetings on Monday evenings at Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale - 7:30 pm. The Early Education Program at Immaculate Conception School in Annandale will once again offer Rhythm and Rhyme for children twelve months to three years old. Give your child the head start he or she needs to ensure their readiness for preschool with this fantastic program that meets once each month. The Wizard of Oz is playing at Immaculate Conception School (ICS) in Annandale, New Jersey from November 9 through November 11. This family classic is sure to delight. Take a trip down the Yellow Brick Road and be transported to the magical Land of Oz. Join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman and the Cowardly Lion on their journey to meet the Wizard. Come share in the adventure as Dorothy and her friends encounter munchkins, monkeys, a good witch and a very wicked witch on their search for a heart, a brain, courage and a way home. Will they avoid the wrath of the Wicked Witch and make it to the Emerald City? This spectacular musical is not to be missed. Performances are Friday, November 9 at 7:00 pm, Saturday November 10 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm and Sunday, November 11 at 1:00 pm. Hunterdon Medical Center depends heavily on regular volunteer blood donors to maintain an adequate and safe blood supply. "Giving blood is the most generous act of kindness that one human being can do for another. When you give blood, you save lives. Blood is used for accident victims, newborn babies and their mothers who need a transfusion, people undergoing surgery, patients receiving treatment for cancer and other diseases," stated Cathy Conroy, Blood Donor Recruiter at Hunterdon Medical Center. To be eligible to donate blood a person must be at least 17 years of age, be in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds.
