In this new role, my first priority is to ensure a smooth transition, as we complete our reconfiguration. I am pleased with the progress we have made so far, and excited to lead our district into this new phase. Prior to my appointment as Acting Superintendent, I filled the role of Director of Special Projects in the Clinton Township School District. My duties required me to work closely with the superintendent and district administration in the management and operations of the district and staff. Some key elements in my previous role included the development of the budget, personnel management, curriculum and technology development and support as well as the research, development and implementation of the reconfiguration of the district. Prior to my role as Director of Special Projects, I had served as the Supervisor of Student Programs and Staff Evaluations beginning in 2015 and then as the Vice Principal of Clinton Township Middle School. Prior to my arrival In Clinton Township, I taught in nearby Tewksbury Township at the Old Turnpike Middle School. O n e o f m y i n t e r e s t s i s s t u d e n t achievement, which has led me to research in my Master's program on the Effects of Prescriptive Software on middle school student math scores. As I look ahead to the new school year, I am looking forward to exciting new beginnings. I want to take this opportunity to share with you my strong support of our school district, and our dedicated staff members. We are a team, first and foremost, dedicated to the success of every one of our students.
