These beliefs are instilled upon our students daily – we reinforce the example that "Children learn by what they see." We already do various community service projects at all of our programs, such as sewing quilts for the needy in the winter, collecting donations for Animal Shelters, supporting causes such as our Hop-a-thon with MDA and providing food at local homeless shelters. This year we wanted to do more. On March 25, WFC Staff and their families spent the day cooking and serving lunch to 100 people at the Safe Harbor Home- less Shelter in Easton, PA. We were able to provide all of the food, plus a generous donation from ShopRite in Phillipsburg of fresh chicken which we roasted! We also able prepared and provided squash soup, macaroni & cheese, fresh vegetables, various baked goods and an Easter Bag! The food was delicious, enjoyed with gratitude and everyone had a great time together. Do you have a service project that you'd like WFC to support or par- ticipate in? Please email: cclaytor@theworkfamilyconnection.org.
